Pro Black is an emcee from Chicago’s lower north side. He is an energetic performer whose passion for Hip-Hop is shown on stage. Pro Black recorded his first song at 14 and has been going full speed ahead since that time. Now 22, Lyricism and innovative songs are two of the attributes that personify He has released a mixtape ” Now or Never vol 1 and has been featured on the A-Team’s ”Rush Hour“ mixtape, Pro Black’s Witty wordplay and spit fire rhyme schemes are just some of the characteristics that he displays in his music. Inspired by his surroundings and life experiences, Pro crafts his music from the heart. His love for the oppressed and exploited comes through in his music. On his song ”So I rise“ he spits ”You’re in a system that’s set up for you to fail/ if you’re a young black or Latino male“ His awareness of social issues is something that sets him apart from many emcees his age.
